layers
In addition, the levels of meaning and contact points themselves are present as a matter of painting, too. The layers appear sometimes as foils or curtains and some other times as ordinary tears or splits, which are painted but look like a photograph.
I put particular events or non-existent memories into different order. Amassing returns visually quite often. In some cases the sight is as violent and banal, sometimes even bashful as the outside world as I see it, like the colour programme guides, magazines, newspapers, the TV programme guides or the catalogues dropped in postboxes. At the end we are lost in the mass of ostentatious colours and we fail to notice the point.
I rake up certain limits, tear off the parts not fitting: tearing is manual work, instinct.
