Human Installation 0: "Crisalide" (Chrysalis) and "The Cycle of Life"
"I thought it was the wind"(Kyrahm)
During "Chrysalis" i was looked in a cocoon for 27 hours no stop in the middle of a square of Rome looked after by my own mother for my basic needs night and day.
Web cam connected to the event's web site later it will be possible to chat with me.
The action is about the incommunicability between mother and daughter and the demonstration that to shut oneself up as a defence mechanism, in reality exposes us to greater risks. The happening ended when Kyrahm destroyed the cocoon and headed for the theatre where the Body Performance Art Festival "Muta-azioni Profane" written and curated by her took place.
When Kyrahm arrives at the theatre, the Festival started and she recovered on stage: eat and wash herself for "The Cycle of Life" inspired by the phases of life. Kyrahm is not using actors but real subjects: a 18 days old baby suddenly cries, elderly people show their aged bodies, a teenage girl covers embarassed.
