Acid mine drainage sludge

There are over 3000 miles of acid mine drainage flowing through the rivers and streams of my State of Pennsylvania. Now with the Marcellus Shale Oil play in my backyard soon the western part of my state of Pennsylvania could become a big super fund site. The odd thing about pollution like this is that even though it is so toxic... in an abstract way this toxic water it is extremely beautiful. My images attempt to bring awareness to the environmental problem in my backyard.
