'Monsters in the streets' is a reduced version of 'Through the Looking Lens' which is an installation consisting of 288 photos wrapped around MDF board. The formed blocks are then placed into a grid in a colour-coded spectrum. This grid of images represents Lulu's influences, that which attracts her eye in the streets. Everything one sees is ultimately an influence whether we are aware of it or not. Through this piece, Lulu illustrates what she sees. Its a glimpse of her world, the way she sees it. Through her lens we get to see things we may have missed. 'Monsters in the Streets' is a representation of the quirky things and weird creatures she loves about the streets of London, Brussels and Berlin.
