This series of eight photographs is a part of an artistic work which also includes a video installation called the Raval and a sound installation called Ruins.
The three works were conceived between 2004 and 2005 in the city of Barcelona. The group talks about the transformation that the city is suffering due to the sheer speculation that takes place primarily in the neighborhoods like El Raval in Barcelona.
The city traces are printed on the skin through slides projected on a male and female naked bodies.
The transformation distorts and affects men in the same way that the slide is adapted to body shapes.
