Squared

as a loosening up exercise I decided to make a short piece which simply re-imagined a cube in a variety of ways, this also gave me an opportunity to try out some new animation techniques. Squared represents the first fifty cubes. I was also listening to Hauntological music at this time, the soundtrack is made up from fragments of crackle recorded from a variety of vinyl albums. I attempted to mimic the dusty, aged aesthetic of the soundtrack visually by creating 'dust' in A.F.
