With this picture I take up again the talk started with “Yellow stripe of Termini railway station”; I’ve taken it in a working moment, out of my secretary's office, in the passage stairs. It has not many pretences apart pointing out how we sometimes can meet beauty in unconventional places, even outside the office or in a supermarket, as Warhol told many years ago , with campbell’s soup or coke, that are common, transverse, popular elements, within the grasp of the rich as of the poor ones . His talented work has given them an artistic dignity, that before was not recognized. “Style , it takes” was one of his maxims, I hope to have made it mine with this picture..
