Now was installed in an old Woolworth display window on the corner of 11th and Commerce Street in Tacoma, Washington’s financial district, also a central hub for city transportation. The picket signs are laser-etched with quotes from people throughout history who have acted defiantly in an effort to bring social equity to underrepresented populations. Quotes were taken from personal writings, speeches, and manifestos in which action and equality are primary objectives.
