The image takes part to the project “Allegorie Rem”, which aim is to isolate the moments in which evident connections with oneiric world happen in the reality. Decontextualising the singles pictures, they are iconified to amplify their symbolic function. It’s tried to find in the outside world unconscious sceneries and the circumstances when they recreate themselves, which confirm the hypothesis that real dimension and "Rem sleep" are connected.
Following the rules of the freudian dream, elements that wouldn’t have links in waking, are connected. Associating the pictures by common sensorial informations, a character of an element to another element is assigned by semantic displacement and symbolization. Showing photographically actions or different situations deprivated of their context, the latent contents of the dream are extract. However exist symbols and meanings that arise again, like theatre, natural world, childhood, grotesque, old age, solitude and physical deformation. They are points of departure that have the aim to guide the observer to further interpretations.
