Giufà is a character of sicilian folklore. Speaks in the simplest way, doesn't know malice or deception, and is an easy target for cheaters of any kind.
He lives hand-to-mouth, in a candid and careless way, with no worries about the world always on the fringe of falling apart on him.
Somehow he always manages to get out of problems, involuntarily.
