16mm Film Reappropriation

reappropriation of 16mm film that depicts tourist destination on native reservation lands in united states; to live as natives americans once did. the content of the film has nothing to do with indigenous lifestyle and capitalizes on the distribution and spectacle of native culture as a product. i shaped the film into a figure who stares at its reflection from mirrored plexiglass marred with dollar signs and numbers symbolizing capitalism.
