Abusive relationships come in all sorts of formats, colours and shapes, and anybody may be affected by them at any moment in time. They involve emotional, psychological and physical pain, which are in turn symptomatically expressed in feelings of imprisonment and censorship. The current work – Imprisonment 2- belongs to the series „Imprisonment“ where I explore the manifestation of these feelings in the cenario of domestic abuse. Here I deal with the feelings of being controlled, censored, commanded, submitted. A strong determined hand points a massive finger at its victim. In the background, a blue sinister curtain mischiveouly stands between domestic and outside worlds. Is it ever opened? Is the one in the receiving end ever allowed to spy on the world that lies beyond the curtain?
