Another Dream

"Another Dream" celebrates the rebelliousness of the modern art movement, especially Picasso who was considered a degenerate by much of the public. The sexual images in "The Dream" are well-known, but subtly camouflaged for the naive. In these contemporary times, there are still variations of nudity that continue to be considered too lascivious for general view. In my painting, the realistic depiction of Picasso's intended image aims to disturb (and perhaps shock) the viewer and make them question their own boundaries of censor.
