Mask One
Characteristic of my work lies in the pleasure of moving in the variety and mix of different elements, so to speak, the sacred and the profane, ie, the primary material of the artistic tradition of all time, the earth, the canvas, the basic classical painting, and then metals such as copper.
This copper, however, is a copper turns, on which heavy and cold, and as a result of alchemical steps becomes inexplicably light, floating and light, almost weightless, lifted from the frame. A material on which lightens the weight, creating a texture like a fabric, and sends out plaits lace through space, a substance that heats structuring visually as a decorative lace.
