StreetLife - Budapest

StreetLife is a series, wich is attempting to expose familiar urban spaces for what they truly are: new, aggressive non-symbiotic ecologies. To demonstrate this, it shows the transformation of natural environments by placing unexpected inhabitants into the landscape. These players are shown behaving in their natural manner in an environment that cannot support them. Non-symbiotic economically motivated construction forcing impossible adaptations.
Panoramic images are utilized to add a temporal dimension to the pieces. The large horizontal scroll allows for an extra-narrative vocabulary, past, present and future. Whilst simultaneously placing the viewer within the forced environment. Thus emerging them into the narrative.
