Safad (Safed) - The old city

Safad also spelled Safed is the highest city in the Galilee, located, 900 meters (3200 feet) above sea level in the mountains of the Upper Galilee overlooking Tiberias - Sea of Galilee- Bahr Tubariya, Ginnosar (where many of Jesus miracles occurred including his walking on water, calming the storm, the disciples and the boatload of fish, and his feeding five thousand people in Tabgha).
