Biography

Carolina Paltrinieri born in 1989 in Italy, passionate about the world of photography since high school. The study, in her case, is the technical codification of her passion that is refined through numerous shots.
Attended in December 2011 the "Nikon School Travel" a a photographic journey that, thanks to the professionalism of the teachers Edoardo Agresti and Stefano Pesarelli, grow Carolina .
With the "Nikon School" has traveled to Zambia in the north, and this experience, thanks to the teachings, has also allowed us to get among the eight finalists in the Culture section of the Youth category at the prestigious London competition "Sony World Photography Awards 2012" with the click African Shaman. In 2012 follows the first "Bronze Award Nikon" with History "Forgotten". In 2013 she participates in a second Nikon School travel and travels between Laos and North Vietnam. In the same year in Orvieto follows, for Nikon Awards 2013 a "Silver Award" in the category Reportage Stories with the "Restart to See" and two "Bronze Award" with 2 single shots taken in Ethiopia. In 2015 arrive prestigious awards, with second place at the "Moscow International Photo Awards" and an Honorable Mention at ' "Black and White Spider Awards".
From September 2014 she started a photographic project in theNorth of' Ethiopia. In a Salesian mission, come every three months doctors' from Italy to give comfort and assistance to the population and Carolina telling their actions. During breaks with local students she taking a course in photography, which helps them to tell the reality of their country and to explore with the imagination.
At the center of her objective, there are human and topical social issues.
