Biography

Chiara Pirozzi (Naples, 1983) graduated in History of Contemporary Art at the University of Naples “Federico II”, is a PhD student in Visual Art, Performing and New Media at the University of Bologna with a research project about the historical/critical interpretation of the Corporate art Collections in Italy. As an Assistant Curator she collaborated with Ludovico Pratesi, which followed the realization of many exhibitions in public spaces, including: Scultura oltre le Mura, Museo delle Mura, Rome, 2013; Eliseo Mattiacci, Dinamica Verticale, Fondazione Pescheria - Centro Arti Visive, Pesaro, 2013; Patricia Cronin, Le Macchine, gli Dei e i Fantasmi, Museum of Centrale Montemartini, Rome, 2013; Triple Identity, MAC, Museum of Contemporary Art in Istria, Pula (Croatia), 2013; Andrea Nacciarriti, And the ship sails on, Fondazione Pescheria - Centro Arti Visive, Pesaro, 2013; Marco Tirelli, Immaginario, Palazzo Poli, Rome, 2013; Valerio Rocco Orlando, The Reverse Grand Tour, Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Moderna, Rome, 2013; Oltre il giardino. L’idea di giardino nell’arte contemporanea. Un omaggio a Pietro Porcinai. Palazzo Fabroni, Pistoia, 2013; PUNTI DI VISTA. Identità Conflitti Mutamenti. As a curator, she made the following projects exhibition at the gallery Dino Morra Arte Contemporanea in Naples: Chiara Coccorese, Ancien Régime, 2011; Daniela Di Maro, Cuprum, 2012; Moio&Sivelli, Panta Rei, 2012; Afterall, Autotelico, 2012; Cristina Gardumi, Girlbook/Boybook, 2012; Lamberto Teotino, EP, 2013; Afterall/Eugenio Giliberti, DuediDuediDue, 2014. She cured the exhibition of Moio&Sivelli, Like a seagull at the Fondazione Pescheria - Centro Arti Visive, Pesaro, 2014. Since 2011 she has collaborated with art magazines, such a "Arshake", "Exibart ", "INSIDEART" and "Segno". She produced critical essays and she contributed to several exhibition catalogues
