Celeste Prize is an open, global-call to artists to present works in any media for a final exhibition and awards in Berlin, Germany, in September 2009.
Celeste is the first international art prize to offer significant monies to artists to benefit their careers and projects, by giving artists the chance to vote and decide who wins the 40,000 € prize money. A panel of international art critics will select the 46 finalist artists, who will then have the right to vote the prize winners at the final exhibition in Berlin.
Celeste's CStudios area is also an online community for friends, colleagues and contemporary arts professionals worldwide. Anyone can join, start comunicating with other members now !
The first Celeste Prize launched on 23 December 2008, deadline for entries 30 June 2009.
