Urban art changes "street art" first step, is art in the ancient village, event sponsored by the City of Cassano delle Murge curated by Maestro Massimo Nardi and in collaboration with the ARCI Cultural Association "Stand By;"
Beyond space boundaries, beyond trivial spaces. Urban art changes "street art". A challenge in which art and beauty fight the degradation and indifference of the heart of Cassano, the ancient village treasure chest of history and territorial art, more and more victim of vandalism and abandonment.
emerging and established artists on the international scene in collaboration with the ARCI Cultural Association "Stand By;" they will realize works in some areas of the historic center of Cassano, precisely in those that are asking for help. Works of art will be installed as in an open-air museum, on peeling walls, unstable walls and degraded offenses, neglected and mistreated paths. It is a real awareness campaign to transmit that image of beauty that, with ever greater effectiveness, is establishing itself in our Region in order to develop harmony, livability and care for spaces and people. It is a first edition, on an experimental basis, which aims to contribute to enhancing the territory and offering further opportunities to promote integrated development between culture and tourism, making Cassano an open-air beauty museum of the second municipal commission, Francesca Marsico . "Artistic experiences conjugated with various styles and concepts that - says the curator Massimo Nardi - in a perfect mélange will create a collective, creative, energetic and bursting force of different and interesting languages where the themes are all taken into consideration
