Here are the winners of the Cascella Award 2019

The winners of the LXIII edition of the Basilio Cascella Award 2019 were awarded at Torre della Loggia in Ortona (Italy), one of the most prestigious art prizes in Italy since 1955. The theme of this edition was: 'Greed'.

The 2019 edition was again edited by the Atlantide Association, with the partnership of Codice Citra and Micoperi. The day was enriched with the presence of Professor Stefano Cesaroni, professional photographer and professor of Photography at the Fine Arts Academy of Frosinone and founder of the three-year photography course at the Academy of Fine Arts of L'Aquila. Also present were Pasquale Grilli, director of the Award, and freelance photographer Alessandro Passerini, artistic curator.

On display the photographic and pictorial works of 30 talents of the visual arts.

• Painting, critics' award: Simone Anticaglia (Perugia)
• Painting, popular prize: Ileana Colazzilli (Pescara)
• Photography, critics' award: Marcello Vigoni (Milan)
• Photography, popular prize: Francesco Di Giovanni (Catania)
