An artist very interessantee I could see recently in a solo exhibition in Berlin is George Widener. The artist is suffering from Asperger's Syndrome, a personality disorder related to autism. Those affected by this syndrome are called "wise fools" as they have one or more prodigious capacity accompanied to a certain difficulty in performing simple tasks.

The ability of Widener alone This stunning in how to recognize, in a split second, the precise day of the week, asking only the date of the month and the year.

For most of the time Widner can not think of anything but digits and dates, so maniacally and often intensely that he can not do anything else.

Practically it does not calculate mentally date, but sees it. It can be said on the spot that day of the week will be on August 20, 5248, store events with an impressive precision and rebuild recurrences and similarities between dates and events distant centuries between them.

Widener was helped by a psychologist to make him understand that it is "only" sick of Asperger's Syndrome and that does not suffer from nessu disorder of madness, his encrypt and recognize dates is a dono.Da Widener understands that moment to be part of a great knowledge and do something I had never done before: someone shows his drawings.

For years, he makes drawings and sketches on sheets that then paste to each other to get a complete overview.

The solo exhibition of Widener Berlin shows maps of imaginary megalopolis and extremely detailed floor plans, transportation really existed, ships and aircraft (such as the tragedy of the Titanic). The tiny cuneiform compongolo that his works were not really characters as might seem at first sight but they were numbers and dates. What seemed stencils were screen printed, digital characters were not printed but were drawn. Everything was both archaic and futuristic. The obsession becomes art and admire a painting of Widener it is like spying by a lock time of the conception of this artist.

The designs of Widener have as an essential basis the numeric digits, as used in the projects previously analyzed.
