What is art for you?

The art is not just immediate emotional creativity, but it is the rational process that leads to create an object or a project that is an artist's story. Seneca said that there is nothing casual in the art. I share this thought. Although to many it may seem strange because they see the artist as a person dominated by the wild excitement, there is also the art math, there is study, sacrifice, devotion.

What features has the art to you?

It is functional, that's the beauty of art. Which is good for nothing. It can excite, stimulate, remain indifferent, provoke, cause controversy, aggregate, break it up, enter the collective imagination, surprise, remain indifferent, be remembered, forgotten, abandoned, studied, recognized, rediscovered. All this only affects humans, their emotions and their reason. No goods are not immediately creates need stomach like bread, it does not have a precise location in the market (the one that is fake). The only function of art is human, it is helpful to the spirit, and not about the present but the future.

What are the recurring subjects and what is his ideal subject pursuing?

Graduated in painting at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence, I do figurative art, in particular they have a portrait, landscape and still life painter, even if at some point I passed abstract art and even informal, and more. Videos, comics, "arte povera". At this time I started a new trend that concerns rugby. And 'one of my tribute to my son who is pylon rugby and also a tribute to the Renaissance, Michelangelo, the great forms, the knights, the battles of the past. I see in rugby a clean sport, genuine, epic, even graceful despite appearances. Looking at photos of some games I thought how wonderful it looks, there's all that can love an artist, there are first of all the forms that are expressed to the maximum voltage, there are the colors of the teams, there is the movement , there is a clash and encounter of the bodies. I 'sa trend that I want to continue and always follow ... I apply to be an official artist of rugby!

What is your artistic career?

Degree at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, having studied at the school of Godfrey Trovarelli and Silvio Loffredo. I have a graphic design degree, I have experience in the field of ceramics and decorative window dresser. Currently I'm teaching drawing and painting privately.

What mediums used?

Painting, one made with oil on canvas.

What are your future plans?

As I said, after having painted many individuals, attracts me the speech about rugby in the "battle" of bodies and emotions, the complexity of the poses they create is endless.
