My experience of art exhibitions curator has become a firm commitment in recent years, specifically in 2012, when together with several people active in the field of culture and social activity we decided to give new light to an old citizen anarchist space.
We re-stylized the place, very central and very visible, making it a mini-equipped gallery, so that it could accommodate both exhibitions policies that readings art exhibitions.
The idea is to combine improvised events with scheduled exhibitions and above all to give shape to a different way of culture and politics, a way that is not new but unfortunately that never fails to spread as it should: that of contamination.
The art is contaminated by culture, it escapes and then offers to politics, politics (always visible all'Infoshop with brochures, leaflets, files, gadgets) washes away the off ideology and open to the curiosity of the guests.
My past experience was mostly passionate about communication and graphics, but now I found myself working with cartoon artists, painting, collage, to kick off a real challenge:
self-managed exhibitions, cost close to zero, during which the presentation takes place almost always with a discussion circle and informal social occasions during which we see as a successful blend of visitors to the event and experts, people of all ages and culture.
Fishing people from the street is our specialty, being snubbed by the media 'mainstream' our habit.
In the past I worked with some artists such as Patrick Diamond, or Xavier Feligini, for writing texts, now I do it more often for the organization of exhibitions all'Infoshop.
We partit * in June 2012 with an exhibition unique in its kind: "The look gay", group show curated by the artist and collector Gilberto Grilli, shows to which we have involved Arcigay and Agedo. In February 2014, we hosted a lovely Sara Massidda staff. In May 2014, with Feminisms, we hosted the tablets of the cartoonist Maureen Lister on lesbian issues, together with an exhibition of Italian lesbian periodical publishing of the eighties and nineties.
Still in 2014, in June, we hosted the unprecedented collective of 'Wet Grrrlz'. From 2015 we host the series of "Notebooks framework", hand-painted, Emma Aragon. Among the artists of the collective "Wet" there is a resident in the city, Veronica Chessa, that we again hosted at Infoshop with an exhibition of drawings, "Hybrid", in December 2016. To support the activities of women artists is a our mission.
Now we are planning for April a new "hybrid", this plant once ... and we hope to have with us before the summer even Patrizia Diamond, which we care to expose our own logo, designed by her and silkscreened hot on fabric .
