On the occasion of 9th edition of "Giornata del Contemporaneo" and supported by AMACI (Association of Italian Contemporary Art Museums), "Gesto Segno Disegno" Contemporary Art Review presents "Sainte Chapelle". The work will be set at MEM Multimedia Library of Mediterranean), the most contemporary and social vivid architecture in
Cagliari.
Artist Federico Cozzucoli will give to designers, graphics, architects, video makers, photographers, artistic persons, and anyone who feels like trying, the opportunity to join in a workshop online. During the workshop participants will be allowed to change Cozzucoli's work "Sainte Chapelle", synthetic and geometric representation of social and politic reality post September 11th in gothic stained-glass shaped window. The intent of the experience for the group is taking part to the production of artistic work, a consolidated process of current art. Participants will be asked to contribute to the production of a more symmetric group-work, starting from Cozzucoli's work. The cultural project will be reviewed by an essay of historic of art Simona Campus.
Participation form will published online on September 1st. Starting work will be showed at MEM on October 5th, on the occasion of "Giornata del Contemporaneo". On the same day the video part of the installation will be showed at Gallerati Gallery in Rome. First result of of the installation workshop will be showed at MEM on October 12th and on
October 19th at MEM spectators will enjoy the first version of video opera produced during the online workshop. Live music will be performed by Matteo Campulla.
The work will be then transfered to Donori at "Ex Monte Granatico" multifunctional cultural area and later at "Agorà Multimediale" area in Ghilarza, Province of Oristano.
