And what a fitting saying for the Water / Seascapes Competition which has closed and the winners announced. For the month of June, Contemporary Art Gallery Online received entries for: paintings, photography and digital art, as well as mixed media & three dimensional categories; as part of the Water/Seascapes Art competition. The “Water/Seascapes” winners were announced July 20, 2016.
In the Paintings category:
Best in Show went to, Laura Kurcharyson for “Light of Heaven”
Judges Choice went to, Mansung Kang for “Boating on Arno”
Gallery Choice went to, John Jaster for “Beach Shadows”
First Place went to, Greg Navratil for “Directions”
Second Place went to, Cotyne for “Shared Pleasure”
Third Place went to, David Swope for “Coast to Coast”
Fourth Place went to, Jeff Linsenbard for “All Alone”
The Fifth Place was a tie whereby two artists were selected: Joy Hanser for “Many Mansions” and Tricia Hoye for, “Days End”.
Honorable Recognition went to, Anju Dube for, “Water, Life, Power and Beauty”
