The moment my journey, of consciously embracing my fractures, began was when I recognised an insecurity in myself that I had seen many times before and knew was undeserving. I realized that I needed to change my approach to it, so instead of hiding or ignoring it I decided to embrace and love myself.
In my research on the effects of fracture I came across an article on how the Japanese view fracture. When they mend broken objects they agrandize the damage by filling the cracks with gold. They believe when something's suffered damage and has a history it becomes more beautiful.
Quantum psychology tells us that; in order to remain in the present moment we need to recognise the mechanism of our automatic responses, thus empowering us to respond more effectively and maintain rather than loose access to our inner resources.
In conclusion; we need to acknowledge our fractures in order to recognise them they are triggered and empower ourselves to respond in love rather than pain.
