INVASION ONE video and video installations from the territory physical and virtual territory - from August 5 to September 12 - during the Festival Euromenditerraneo Altomonte - intended as a showcase of the most topical and interesting phenomena in the video-sound contemporary artists.
The project by John Viceconte host, for the first time in Calabria, two of the most interesting video artists of the contemporary art scene - White-Valente - an intervention that will carry out site-specific video installations and an entire floor of the Convent of the Dominicans.
Giovanna Valente and White Pine since 1995 working primarily with new media - video art, electronic music, installations and multimedia environments. Their research focuses on investigating the issues that arise in the relationship between art and science: the human body as a whole mentale-immateriale/corporeo-biologico molecular perception, space-time and memory.

INVASION OF ARTICLE ONE sees the collaboration of the Archives Hub (http://arthub.it) from which 10 artists were selected: Joseph Colonese, Mark Lamanna, Silvia Camporesi, Gabriele Pesci, Christian Luke Mander, Sanja Lasica, Michela Pozzi, Dario Lazzaretto, Lino Strangis and Filippo Berta. The first two each present a video installation, while the works of other artists will be screened within the exhibition Campanella.

The structure that houses the convent of Altomonte INVASION ONE, indicates the presence of Dominican friars, history and territory, making space for dialogue between cultures and different times. It will create a close relationship between dissimilar spatial realities: on the one hand an intimate and quiet that immerses the viewer and the artist in an atmosphere full of surreal events, characters and spirituality, the other side of the square and the urban context where stands the monastery that lead back to the present chaos of the contemporary territory.
Just some of the artists in the area focus their thoughts, creative ideas by taking full of references and comparisons.

The project bears the hallmark of dynamic flux and the continuous opening of art making, linking places and people of different areas not only through the tangible space, but also using the web: half now, and offers the potential to develop towards more in progress.
INVASION ONE will develop it on several levels: the physical and virtual worlds of Altomonte arthub.it and undo.net This will give the opportunity for visitors arriving in the town of Calabria and Internet users to enjoy both videos and video installations "set up" in different ways both in nature and design.

The project ART HUB, designed and developed by UnDo.Net, stands as a permanent observatory on the contemporary creative scene, in particular to enhancing the artists working in video and sound art, provides opportunities for training, mobility and learning, promotes the production - use of works through an online archive and a webTV connected to it by facilitating access to a wide audience and broadened. In addition, the project Art Hub is open to collaboration with other archives, projects, exhibitions and festivals, in a logic of networking and truly contemporary culture, trade and wish to enable connections to make art more accessible. http://arthub.it
