18th March – 28th March 2010.
This ten day event features a one night only live performance on the opening night, followed by public access to the installation and films for the remainder of the Festival.
Join McKenzie & Mileusnic at The Bradford Playhouse on the evening of 18th March in their ‘pop up’ Picture House where they will perform dual roles of Cheryl (Usherette), Beryl (Box Office), Cyril (Projectionist) and Arthur Commissionaire) in a playful attempt to recapture the excitement and exuberance of a 1960’s children’s Saturday morning film club and engage the audience in the magic of make believe.
The opening night’s performance will feature a programme of five 30 minute screenings of 90 second films supplied by Depict.
Free tickets for this one night only event are ONLY available on the night at the L.I.F.T. Box Office, (up the cobbled ginnel, back door, Bradford Playhouse, Chapel Street, Little Germany, Bradford BD1 5DL) from 7pm.
The first performance starts at 7.30pm. There are limited seats - please book tickets early in the evening to avoid disappointment.
Public access is available to the L.I.F.T. ON TOUR installation via the Bradford Playhouse entrance from Friday 19th March – 28th March 7pm – 11pm, and during daytime hours at weekends as part of the Peoples Cinema event.
