ARTISTS COLLABORATING: A THREE DAY WORKSHOP
A three-day workshop by visiting Danish artists Stine Diness and Martin Oluf Thaulow

Based at The Art House, Wakefield.
Through talks, debates, demonstrations and practical group exercises, Stine and Martin will cover the communicative skills that encourage rewarding outcomes from artist collaborations. Both artists are working together on a project to be installed in Wakefield’s Westgate Studios Project Space, during their visit to the UK – in time for the Contemporary Glass Society’s conference at YSP and Septembers Artwalk.
Participants will learn about:
1. Why and how – of combining different medias.
2. In-depth analysis – of a medias strength and weakness.
3. From studio to audience – how to plan and structure a project.
4. How to work with a true and sincere expression – Upholding the original concept.
5. How to collaborate.

Please register with Lisa Noyce at The Art House. Your place will be confirmed on receipt of payment.
On registering, Stine and Martin request that participants include 3-4 images of their work and a cv/statement. They will use this information to gain prior knowledge of the participants to help where possible to steer the workshop to individuals interests and abilities.
Upon acceptance participants will receive a personal invitation. Materials are not included in the fee. A month before the workshop the participants will receive a short list of material requirements.
