New Collection: Portraits of Reflection
News, Australia, Sydney, 26 March 2012
In times of uncertainty, change, or renewal we call upon reflection.

Chuang Tzu (c.360 BC – c. 275 BC) said “The sound of water says what I think”; echoed in the piece I have created.

Soft yellow and brown tones are that of the earth, and as her hair falls to meet the water, she calls for her thoughts to be grounded and clear; bringing thoughts and emotion to one. The lines of her hair are like her many lines of thought, and they fall away gently to reveal her reflection.

This piece below "Reflection" by Leni Kae (c) is the first in a series of portraits that I have started as part of a new collection, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it. If you would like to commission a portrait as a gift or for yourself, please do not hesitate to enquire.
