FASI - Federation of Associations Sardines in Italy - entity that collects 70 circles of Sardis in Italy, representing about 350 000 Sardinian residents on the peninsula, on the occasion of the anniversary of the 150 th year of the unification of Italy, celebrated the event with the exhibition Contest-traveling "Brothers of Italy" 150 anniversary of the Unification of Italy celebrated for images involving one of the best artists in Italy and abroad working in the field of satire, graphics, comics and illustration . Signatures of the most authoritative of satire, caricature and humorous drawings pay homage to the analysis of our country - through their lens and irreverent pencil - the concepts of unity and national identity, freedom and the State which were the philosophical, poetic and political Italian Risorgimento.
On display from October 28 to November 23, 2011 at the Regional Museum of Natural Sciences of Turin, and included in the schedule of Turin, Piedmont ContemporaryArt, "Brothers of Italy" offers an overview of the many Italian masters: from Chiappori (BBC) to Julian (Republic), Contemori, Origone (nineteenth century), Staino (The Unit), Nicolini (Free), Brown (Landscape), Cattoni, Krancic (The Newspaper), Mangosi, Marinelli, Superb. The exhibition in Turin, at the Regional Museum of Natural Sciences, offers more of a reflection on the birth of Italy, making it accessible to a wide range of creative people from various parts of the world the experience of participation in the commemorations of 150 anniversary of the Unification of Italy.
The works provide surprising interpretations and in particular enhance the character of the popularity of the satire, parody and comic book - which is well adapted to the spirit "plebiscite" of the proposed project by phases. At the end of his stage shows the Piedmont will enter the permanent collection of the Museum of Satire in Burgos. The icon of the exhibition (Garibaldi) is made by Maestro Gavino Sanna.
