Turin has been in recent years a big change and its past industrial town has certainly facilitated the resurgence of industrial buildings converted into homes. Pharmaceutical Factory Via Crescentino, 25 is an example of this development planning. The building was renovated in 2004, began to populate from December 2005 and continues today to stand his trial. In June 2007 then was born the idea of creating a net of communication that could connect those who come to live in a new context from which to draw and where to integrate. It was born the Blog that for all the people is the place in which to collect: Ideas, Actions, Motions, Thoughts, Projects, solutions and even new energy. Among the projects the creation of a virtual library available on the blog, and that currently contains 1200 books.
The Community is made up of some creative personalities as painters, sculptors, designers and graphic artists but also many people engaged away from the art world. This has not prevented the realization of exhibitions such as "Metamorphosis" in 2009, an exhibition on the theme of changes in intended use of spaces with
the intention to reconstruct the history of a place through the collection of documents, photos and interviews. On May 22, 2010 a new exhibition titled: Man About Woman (and Vice Versa), or the view of man over women and vice versa. A provocative theme with the intention to speak in a somewhat 'broader diversity. An event in a conventional unconventional.
An exhibition on an alternative route between the common spaces, ramps, stairs and loft to discover the vibrant creativity of this building. Sometimes you do not are words or the time is not appropriate to express an opinion on an issue, every time this happens is an opportunity we miss. A different way, then, to express their opinion about a topic through the creation of an object, writing a text, a video.
The event organized by the Community Street Loft Crescentino, 25 is back in Asti, in the garden of the Cathedral at the Relais Culture Association Sound Garden(http://www.relaiscattedrale.it/) is an example of how creativity can be expressed outside the usual channels, an example of Together with the sole purpose of communication.
