Saturday, January 22 to 18:30 Nuvole Arte Contemporary Art Gallery Montesarchio (BN) open Lucia Cannone Solo Exhibition 'Synthetic Steps' The exhibition is specifically designed for the gallery space is characterized by some installations and photographic prints. Two large installations titled "System Shutdown" and "Restart the System " are placed at the center of the gallery.
"I imagined - said the artist - to reject the rapid flow of reality through the means of linking real and virtual, what we are and what we want to be, packaging the everyday objects that become extensions of the body are deprived of their functions vital (...) Like a bullet through the body everyday space, the objects it encounters on its trajectory, going on a journey to the center of the earth in search of a new space-time, towards the construction of a new mental model that open up in new forms, rules and pushes the flap back into the game. "
Lucia Cannon was born in Canosa di Puglia, lives and works in Rome and Turin. She graduated in Civil Engineering. Self-taught artist, has exhibited in several Italian and European cities. He has participated in solo and group exhibitions. She was among the artists selected by Arte Ingenua International Prize in 2008 with publication of the catalog and she was among the selected is sculpture/installation of the Celste Prize 2010.
