contemporary visions three artists to comparison


"Inside Out" is an exhibition that wants to enhance the interaction between the arts and the personal experience, trying to transform intimate messages identity in artistic works accessible common observer, observation and curiosity stimulated to unconscious phenomena through the vision of images, texts, fragments of lives proposed by Daniel Magnani, Mariaconcetta Giuntini, Valentina Rimauro.
Starting from the idea to compare thoughts, images and impulses subjective develops and takes shape, one of the three young artists, the idea of drawing three routes very personal, different experiences and lived on the common theme of obsession. In particular, this exhibition conceived and designed by themselves, they proposed the goal of bringing to light those involuntary phenomena that belong to each of us, representing something intrusive, out of our control and therefore profoundly scary.
The inner gaze is necessary starting point in the identification process. By analyzing themselves, identifying their abysmal depth, artists constantly questioning his own experience looking for answers, shaping the human material on the canvas-paper-holder on the inside of an artistic process and aware of the sacred rigor.
In fact, the artist as a murderess lives a perennial dissatisfaction that compels him to repeat endlessly and always acts in the same way that they become real rituals. In this direction goes this time the work of Daniel Magnani, looking for a sign ... a gesture that builds, a gesture that erases, a gesture that highlights or island, a gesture capable of over-painting redraw the figure below. Interested image of the man, he worked on the language facial expressions or by offering images stops faces, disfiguring the face normal of its models. Through the use of his fingers trail signs seizure relentlessly on the image below, denying the figure that is partially erased or covered, emphasizing the different expressions or generates new ones. The direct component of the body as a painting tool allows Daniel to empathize with the action that accomplishes reducing the filters before the canvas.
Center investigation of the work of Mariaconcetta Giuntini, the body is always subject to analyze, scrutinize, used poetically, whatever the medium chosen by the artist. Through photos, drawings, texts, the body is placed "on the edge" of the presence, at the edge of paradox because the body is not only and especially his own body, but also the body of the other. The body of his work is present and absent, is owned and elusive, ghost and ... substance is transformed in space-time where it becomes visible and contactable ... in doing and saying. In turn, the body says, she says. Emotion, subject, report at the time he completed his gestures, the body is.
Valentina Rimauro has this vision: the human being free from the obsessions; so one question: can be a task, a mission to raise awareness of the artist that life does not need to obsessions? Obsessions are prisons, are circular visions that do not lead anywhere. What happens when you leave this circle? What makes you get out of the circle? When you're in the circle suffer, you're confused, do not you love me, you do not live the present; obsessions abduct you, suck your energy, you're dependent on your obsessions. The obsession of not succeeding, of not being able to communicate, not to choose. Obsession with cleanliness, obsession with sex. And the fear freezes. The hands are blocking the body and its footprint.
Free obsessions, free to be yourself. It happens. Born from the desire.

Moving away from the normal canons simple pictorial review of the exhibition, the three artists invite the viewer to question and lead in turn to those aspects of his life hardly lived with normality and often easily overlooked or even omitted because of their weight.
