The International Exhibition of Visual Arts 'I HAVE A DREAM' with the support of Monselice city and of the Culture of the Municipality and the Veneto Region and the Province of Padua, linked to the event 'Grand Viennese Debutante Ball ' will take place in the picturesque Lispida Castle in Monselice in Padua province from 9th to 16th May 2015 developed by Maria Grazia Todaro, President and Art Director of QueenArtStudio and will host, at the same time the personnel of ATHOS FACCINCANI
The Castle, WONDERFUL LOCATION OF THE EVENT, is a monastic property since 1150 and was bought around 1800 by the counts Corinaldi; they built on the ruins of the ancient monastery the buildings we see now and provide them with impressive wine cellars, beginning the production of renowned wines all over Europe. During the First World War Castle Lispida hosts King Vittorio Emanuele III’s headquarters. The
estate of Lispida extends to 90 hectares and includes its own thermal lake with hot springs from which therapeutic mud is extracted. The Castle is located in the heart of the Euganean Hills Natural Park, a protected area and landscape full of beautiful views, ideal for those who love walking in contact with nature
The title of the event implies a conception of desire centered in the ideal, or idealized object, in the state,
in space or in a figure, to create a work of art that embodies the values and characteristics of the subject /dreamer ; a conceptual premise therefore resulting from this group of practices where every practice is lead by a sense of desire and escapism, contained in a series of strictly individual parameters. And among the limits of the physical spaces and psychological study, and the tradition of his own art, every artist tries to reproduce these instinctive desires. Dream so serves as a cultural concept, coming from the cinema, from music, from art, history, nature and the cosmos, poetry, music etc, it represents a constant impulse in the artist to catch or understand every aspect of the world and the universe or of material and immaterial reality through expressive processes that can make us come back to a state of dream, this place where we imagine where to reflect on our existence as a function of the world.
It will be open to all disciplines: painting, sculpture, graphics, photography, visual installations etc.
During the evening some works, voluntarily donated by the Artists exhibited for the charity event during the Gala Dinner, will be offered as prizes to contribute to the construction of a hospital department of rehabilitation in the Municipality of Tomislavgrad in Contrada Kovaci in Bosniaa MEDJUGOIRJE, a Centre
for children with disabilities to support the project of Marisa Maragno’s project.
All artists and their friends and relatives can take part, after the opening ceremony of the exhibition about at 5.30 p.m. , at the Grand Gala Evening of Debutante Ball
