PrimoPiano is glad to present the first solo show of Iwajla Klinke in Italy.
In Ritual Memories, Iwajla Klinke (1976) displays her fascination with the way cultures adorn bodies sacredly for religious and spiritual ceremonies and applies her own twist. The subjects in the shoot bare raw meat, dead mice and ducks, insects and evening hot dripping candle wax;she adds laced accessories and magic ornaments.
