Turkey. Istanbul. Chaos and collapse 2/2
Workshops , Turkey, İstanbul, 20 November 2012
The relationship between sea and sky, the sinuous fusion of land and water, the glows of the sacredness of the Byzantine mosaics or spinning domes of mosques, like coats of whirling dervishes, the constant changes and changing perspectives that bring with them changes, always lively, of the shades of light, backlight and color overlays of landscapes and architecture, the horizons of human, natural and monumental, echoing in this center of the world that was, is and intends to be still in the future.
The chaos, which seems to have tried to tell and make perceptible this wonderful domain of the light of Istanbul is without criteria. On the contrary, I tried to live the "visitor" the uncontrollable explosion, extended and generated everywhere, that the city gives. The frantic passage from one place to another contains in itself, always, the seed of light and its constructive power, of shapes, lines, volumes, thoughts and breaths.
