In Medi Terraneum 2012 is an international festival of video art that takes place
simultaneously in 5 cities in 5 countries of the 'Latin America and the Mediterranean. It focuses on the development
new issues related to the creative possibilities offered by video art. The Festival aims
the shift in the usual flow of circuits through artistic appreciation of what is
defined center and what is called the suburbs.
The Festival will take place on 29, November 30 and December 1, 2012 at the 'Instituto Cervantes
Palermo, during these days can expect are videos selected representatives of each country
participating in the festival. During the final day (December 1), will be held at Intermediae-
Matadero Madrid a VJ / DJ session that will be broadcast live streaming in the remaining locations
(Uruguay, Argentina, Italy and Greece).
While the work of the last year faced the issue of "creativity and precariousness" This third edition
Festival explores issues relating to consideration of error in the creative process
and the creation from collective practices.
Inclusion of the error in the creative process.
In some environments, it tends to leave no room for error, in stigmatizing and identify it with the
failure. With this announcement we propose to re-evaluate the error as a natural being
part of a process of learning and discovery limits.
