Video.it, an exhibition dedicated to the promotion of motion pictures, was born in 1999 - designed by Artegiovane, Turin - and immediately presented itself as a platform specifically dedicated to the presentation and screening of new creations of art videos. Since the first edition, hosted at the Cloister of St. Peter in Chains in Turin, the exhibition offered a series of updated points of view on the Italian situation through those searches and those video works that marked a scene in continuous and rapid evolution. In the recent three-year cycle (2009 / '10 / '11) dedicated to the areas and directions of research active in the countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea, has offered a first series of critical surveys on audiovisual production, part of a larger scope of dense transformations sociocultural emerged strongly in recent years. The 2013 edition now marks the beginning of a new cycle of patrols and insights dedicated to artistic genres and techniques to help spread the knowledge of the art of animation and to promote contacts and exchanges between the artists of 'animation.
The events will start at 20.45 and will be held at the Fondazione Merz
