AltoLab in partnership with Decipher , presents LAB . , Open laboratory for the Contemporary Arts.
The evening's program includes :
7even 7even on the project of the Association of residence Venetian AltoLab , fitness for Contemporary Arts presents , in collaboration with Associazione Decifra of Turin , the work of the collective auroraMeccanica ( Charles Riccobono , Roberto Bella, Fabio Alvino ), a live multimedia performance result of ' processing of sounds , images and feelings stolen from the space dock Molini and Porto Marghera , returned to the public and the space itself through a flood of lights and shadows, projections of the memory of a place and time that he wrote his history in tangible signs of industrial archeology . Thanks to the collaboration with the project CantiereCorpoLuogo on 7even 7even will be presented within ControZona that will host Francesca Arri and Aurora Meccanica, artists of the residence 2012 and 2013. ControZona is a project curated by CantiereCorpoLuogo under the patronage of the Veneto Region, City of Venice, IUAV and Bevilaqua La Masa Foundation .
The exhibition Pseudologia Fantastic : A as a hallucination , B lie ... as the result of the workshop presented by Decifra and AltoLab and whose protagonists are young artists Mattia Macchieraldo , Flavio Palasciano and Francesco Del Conte. Decifra and AltoLab have wanted to put a focus on the study , research and the process of maturation facing young people in the transition between being a student and being an artist , following the boys in the preparation of critical texts in the creation of a portfolio and in the search for concrete opportunities to work without interfering on what concerns the creation of a work of art , letting the strength of the works of these artists is of increasing body paying their technical and pedagogical support .
On the occasion of the exhibition will be presented on site-specific project for firefly lantern artist Laura Tinti, born during the inspections carried out in the dock at the workshop Molini WAVE - Marghera , directed and designed by the architect Sandro Marpillero of ' IUAV University of Venice. The outskirts of Marghera and Via Fratelli Bandiera more precisely , it is the place where from time dozens of women in prostitution . The lantern is a public art project , thinking born to these women , and for
Marghera. E ' a real form of urban furniture , consisting of a cover
Waterproof and by a seat , equipped with lighting , which protects in a sense
dummy lights but actually the person who uses it , changing
the atmosphere of the place in which it is placed.
Finally AltoLab presents the usual appointment with sound abstractions ,
project that shapes the industrial space in a room listening experience with
musical experiments of the guest artists : sound designer and vj prepare the
their moment of abstraction listening, sound walks and processing
multimedia . The program of this edition offers live performances
Kriptoscopia Michele Spanish , Enzo Comin and Sissy Biasin ,
Monologue & Con_cetta Buttinelli duo's live set . A, the sound of B.E.A. , the
visual mapping of Francis Burlando and finally the Dj sets Furthermore, ECRI , Carlo
Christmas and Grao that will accompany us until late at night .
