hursday, April 18, 2013 at 17:00 Giorgio of Genoa has, in the conference room of the CASC-Bank of Italy, the 10 volumes of his "History of Italian 900"

This is a path that begins with an extraordinary encounter with the monumental work that Di Genova dedicated to the 900. Now it was necessary to actually celebrate a job of this magnitude, and the best way, of course, was an exhibition of some of the artists analyzed by Di Genova. Not only that, it was necessary a double event: the opening of the exhibition and presentation of symptoms of Di Genova, two separate, but permeated by the same emotions that will lead those present in a journey between artists who may be less well known, but certainly not less daring in the search for a highly personal language.

This event, organized artistic organization Tartaglia Art in collaboration with the CASC-BI (Service Center Social and Cultural among the employees of the Bank of Italy), will be opened at the headquarters of the CASC-Bank of Italy in Rome way Mandrione, 190. Keep it the fifth appointments that Tartaglia Art is organizing in this location since November 2012. They remember the exhibitions: "Unlike" Dirce Korbes and Maurizio Attisani, "You can photograph the unconscious" of the slave Dream-Group, "Flowers and Nature; Bloom" by Giancarlo Amabile, and the show still ongoing "Screw that inhabit "Fulvio Tornese.

"Convinced that the comparison is useful to understand the essence of contemporary art, I wanted to bring together in this exhibition artists born in the thirties 7 and 8 were born in the forties, generations, despite the fragmentation of individual expression, they have different substrates that connote ...... 15 real artists, chosen for variety and linguistic freedom, expressive (and often technical) with the aim to demonstrate, albeit partially, or paradigmatically, what is valid is beyond the "usual suspects", not all, however worthy the reputation that they enjoy. The short trip that crosses propose solutions iconic, aniconic, experimental, metamorphic neofuturiste, neopop, object, with some unions innovative language ... Once again ... I like to remember that art was born from, but you need to constantly renew the coded language to make it current. The examples offered here, though cautiously indicative, because there are too many other (kinetic works from the performances, from video installations, etc.)., Hopefully give an idea of R03;R03;how contemporary art is linguistically fragmented. There will undoubtedly be some works that involve the individual user. Well, it is useful to those who start the long and complicated journey for multilingual appreciate the artistic production of today. (Giorgio Di Genova) "
