Florilegio 10 artisti a confronto

Anthology is a term that is used to indicate a collection of the best part of one or more writers, entire works or songs more often. Snatching the term literary production, the exhibition Anthology. 10 artists in comparison, which opens Tuesday, June 18 at 18.00, edited by Richard Tartaglia, Stephanie Dawn and designed by Giorgio Di Genova, author of 10 volumes of the monumental History of Italian art of the '900 for generations, has collected works by 10 painters and sculptors of various generations and different languages R03;R03;and techniques, as well as different regions, with the intent to return a paradigmatic cross-section of current artistic research, entrusting to 4 entries in each, ie 3 made R03;R03;in the Third millennium as a preliminary, as realized in the years m'90.
The comparison will take place in Florence in two locations, the gallery 166arte, which will bring together the works of the '90s, and in the gallery Merlin Bottega d'Arte, will be the protagonists for Antonio Fiore, Dawn Gonzales generation of the thirties, Attisani Maurizio, Renzo Eusebi Gianfranco Mascelli, Adriana Pignataro, Vito Sardano generation forties, Anna Iskra Donati, Rosario Genovese generation of the fifties and sixties Salvatore Sava generation.
In conjunction with the exhibition a catalog will be published by TAAR with two reproductions of the exhibited works by each artist, and a text of Di Genova, who on June 21 at 18 o'clock in the exhibition at Merlin's Art Workshop, will present his History of 'Italian art of the '900, to better frame the artists of the Anthology and at the same place their research on the guidelines of the trends of yesterday and today.
