With this exhibition the gallery Arts and Tartaglia Soqquadro want to pay tribute to the circus. The exhibition in fact planned in the period when the theater hosts the Golden Circus Tendastrisce fetival.

In the exhibition, the exhibition will be on display for women Alberto Orfei Circus Many years later, in front of a firing squad, Colonel Aureliano Buendía was to remember that distant afternoon when his dad took him to know ice '.

This is the opening words of the novel that won him the Nobel Prize in Gabriel Garcia Marquez, One Hundred Years of Solitude. About Colonel Buendia? Why is going to die? The suggestion of a childhood memory magical, almost fairytale, is a counterpoint to the despair of the current circumstance. Often the memories of our childhood come unexpected to give us relief in painful or difficult circumstances of our adult life, not always those memories are vivid, sometimes just the feel of a carefree life, but sometimes memories are accurate, sometimes we have adjusted over time to transform them, sometimes they are the exact mirror of the reality of an event. In any case, each of us is a child who dreamed, fantasized, and marveled at the discovery of the surrounding world. One of the greatest wonders of our childhood without doubt linked to when our parents took us to the Circus for the first time. Just as Colonel Aureliano Buendía was so surprised by the discovery of ice from the memory to resurface many years later, in front of a firing squad in the same way our wonders emerge in moments of our life more different. The Circus, in this view, the quintessence of Wonders: men flying, tigers, as docile as lambs, jugglers, clowns, glitter and sequins, exotic animals of all kinds, all of this in the eyes of a child who can not seem to spell and print in his imagination the ultimate sense, comprehensive, definitive and sublime meaning to the word FANTASTIC. Referring to this idea we asked the artists and the gallery of the Cultural Soqquadro Tartaglia Arts to prepare for this exhibition of works created specifically, whether the narrative of their Childhood memories related to the Circus, the atmospheres that linger in their minds from day when, thanks to the skill of circus artists, have discovered the meaning of the word through the spring in the soul of Great Wonders. An emotional narration, which should not necessarily be representative of the plan include, but deeper, a research and emotional representation.
