"Once upon a time..."

"Once upon a time ..." is the title chosen by the art director Angelo Cruciani
for the Contemporary Art Collective, that completes the cycle of investigation
on the individual fancied proposed by Misael in the Vicenza space ,giving
rise to the artistic partnership with the Ubuntu Project of Ferrara, where from
June 8, 2011 there will be a Misael corner.

On display Mr.Wany, Erika Patrignani, Luigi Copello, Federico Unia aka
Omer TDK. Four talented young artists who explore the potential of the
imagination. They are not intended to achieve the spectacular effects that in
recent times have amply characterized art. Otherwise their works ,expressing
their own aesthetic sensibility, are signs of something subtle and substantial
part of the world they live and we live in.

Artists offer a visual story in which the animal is a possibility of existence:
genuine otherness able to enter into constructive relationship with the human
identity, recovering the borders between the real and the fantasy in order to
go over the simulation of a virtual relationship or the illusory image of reality.



An exhibition that wants to investigate the relationship between
the “fantastic” and the “ordinary”: the first is intended as a creative
expression able to experience languages, providing keys to understand
the dynamics of everyday life; the second as a way to become aware of
ourselves, species living the time and the space of the planet Earth.

The Misael Project invites the viewer to cross the threshold that separates
himself from the land of imagination, following a path that is divided
between artistic practice and social life, causing subtle shifts in the
perspective through the irrationality of the vision.
Would you eat the chicken that iron your shirt? ... and what about the cow
that talks just like you do?
