Again Eros, in all its forms and facets - love, passion, desire, sexuality, pain, thought, obsession - as a critical impulse behind artistic creation, as elusive as it is Art itself.
Wednesday, April 11 at 19.00, opens at the "Domus Talents", a venue for exhibitions, theater performances, jazz and more, the third annual event organized and curated by Eva Czerkl. Focusing on the most symbolic and allusive eroticism until you get to the representations declared and provocative, the show aims to tell the Eros understood as a driver of creativity and existence in general, in a poetic journey of several of styles, techniques, trails, passing through painting, sculpture, photography, digital art, installation, video.
"The work of art feeds on the desire of the artist," writes France Borel, "of the longing for the other, the model who poses for him and the narcissistic longing for itself . The creative act is an act of deep love. Painting and sculpture are made of erogenous zones, tactile material. Be taking in their human form. They are a sort of fetish, function as a substitute and, together, the vehicle of physical projections. Born from the mind and body of their creator and become independent to offer themselves as mediators of pleasure of the viewer. "

The Dutch media artist Maria Korporal has created for this occasion the video "EVA", with the contribution of the Greek composer Sofia Koubli, author of the sound design.
