With personal Carlo Trevisan, scheduled from July 17 to August 1, concludes the exhibition season of the Contemporary Art Gallery Artekostia of Albinea (RE), which since last fall, he presented several exhibitions dedicated to the authors most representative of the landscape Italian art.
The exhibition, which will be inaugurated Saturday, July 17 at 17.30, entitled "Kromatis," referring to a style of painting in which color has a primary function.
As the artist himself explains, his recent production works are united by a choice of colors ranging from brown to Van Dyck sienna, burnt umber to the bitumen: warm colors welcome epiphanies of everyday life, suspended in the sky or shipwrecked on the shores of the sea.
The subjects of his works are in fact still lifes, figures and animals, shown in a surreal atmosphere and undergo a process of hybridization, with a hint of irony, gives rise to situations and fantastic creatures, such as "Rinoperonte" " Vola V(i)ola "and" Coca-Cola Hellenic. "
The exhibition, art gallery owner from Constantine Square provides fifteen works in oil on canvas - some large - all made between 2009 and 2010.
Carlo Trevisan was born in Cesena in 1965 but lived in Sansepolcro first and then in Versilia, where he studied Civil Engineering at the University of Pisa. In the 80s he began his artistic and cultural training as a poet and painter. Since 1992 he is secretary and editor of the journal Sinopia ", through which it comes into contact with the cultural and artistic world of Versilia. Participate actively in Versilia Artistic Movement, worked with The Theatre Aware of Needs and the Italian Catholic Union of Artists of Lucca. In 2000, leaving all current and Association take an artistic staff, which arise from collaborations with some galleries of central and northern Italy. Frequent trips to Europe, but also in America, led him to confront the international art world. In 2009 he was selected for the competition by Ferrero Kinder Art and exhibited his work at the Triennale di Milano and at Bovisa Ferrero Foundation of Alba. He has published thirty books of poetry that complement and enrich the surreal world of his painting. He lives and works in Versilia and Verona.
The exhibition is open until August 1, 2010, Monday to Friday 18:30 to 23:00 hours, Saturday, Sunday and holidays 16:00 to 23:00 hours. Free admission.
