Vernissage POP ART

The POP ART was born in the second half of the '900 from the fusion between art and mass media, daughter of her time because she used and represented everything that in the contemporary communication was intended for the mass and was reproducible in series.
The term POP ART literally means "folk art" because it refers to objects related to the mass and not to the individual. His innovative and creative drive has never ceased, so much so that, even today, many artists find the basis of their inspiration in this movement and artistic concept.
In our contemporary mass media and mass media have multiplied and the need to express this reality in art is increasingly present. The distances are reduced, the instantaneous and global communications and the images, centuplicated, are everywhere: they fill, condition and influence; all at an unimaginable speed up to a few decades ago. Everything is communication, everything is reproducible to infinity, and this aspect we find in the art that is influenced and conditioned.
Art has acquired new media and tools: it has become digital, it has gone through Fontana's cuts and it has entered the third dimension, traveling from one end of the world to the other with a click, often losing that materiality so dear to the human soul which, not by chance, goes to look for it in solid forms and images of a past not so far away, to rediscover a little of that natural simplicity to which we seem to have to unlearn us.
The POP ART exhibition has a slightly retro flavor, a neo pop art, which tells the contemporary to which the artists who participated, feel more than belong or to which they are inspired.
