The documentary "Il Maestro del Mare" by Julia Pietrangeli, wons the International Short Film Festival Cortoacquario 2012.
A movie about Anselmo Chessa, painter,craftsman and the artist who performs for over 30 years performances of Sand Art. At dawn of the sea, he draws trough sticks of bamboo the sand The drawings lasts for few moments and the waves carries the signs soon. The delicacy and the poetry of this man make us moving: he has an incredible courage to start, again and against the inevitability of life.

CortoAcquario is a festival created by the association Infinito, born from the family of the sub Giulio Balestreri who in 2005 was killed by a speedboat drove by someone not respected the safety distances due.

Pietrangeli Julia (Julius Kaiser in art) is filmmaker, video artist and performer. She collaborates with the artist Kyrahm. They founded the Italian Artistic Movement Human Installations and create award-winning works in Italy and abroad. As a filmmaker has made R03;R03;short reportages and documentaries about women and work.
