Sunday, August 2 other performances of Giordano Floreancig, this time in Venice. On stage will always be the ashes of previous performance, obtained by burning 147 of his oil paintings and gathering in as many containers labeled, numbered and sealed with wax.
The artist will put them in different sites of Venice suffering from Ponte di Calatrava until you get to the Gardens of the Biennale, and shall come immortalized by a famous photographer. The shots will be part of a video that will be screened at the old Ghetto ScalaMata the project "Parallel worlds" between the events parallel to the 53rd Venice Biennale. The exhibition will open on 9 August and will close on August 30.
With this new performance Floreancig Jordan wants to show that the works continue to live more and more until you get in the most areas for a picture. And 'demonstrated that despite everything you can not erase a whole period of their lives!
